1 Bligh’s sustainability initiatives include:

  • During 2021, an 80kW solar PV array was retrofitted to the 1 Bligh rooftop to contribute to Dexus’s net zero emissions target and contribute to the achievement of Dexus’s RE100 commitment of 100% renewable energy by 2030.

  • Paper/cardboard, bottles, cans and plastic containers

  • Battery recycling, e-waste collections (quarterly basis) 

  • Organic waste recycling and oil recycling for retailers

  • Secure paper destruction and recycling

  • Coffee cup recycling to produce bench seats and car park wheel stops

  • Soft plastics recycling
